New Life, New Resolution!

After 7 years of being a full time student, now i just came to the new world as a career woman. Hurm...it's an unexpected to happen at the beginning of my so called 'no-books' life. Ha2.

Knowledge is very important. Without knowledge, i unable to express my ideology. But, Albert Einstain said, "imagination is more important than knowledge". Another quote said that, experience is the best teacher!".

Whatever it is, the great aim of education is not knowledge but action. Knowledge without action is like a tree without fruit. Well said from Al-Ghazali, "ilmu tanpa amal, gila dan amal tanpa ilmu, sia-sia".

And now, i come to new life of reality where i have to apply all my knowledge. From the small world to the world of life. Not lost of the world...ha2. It's all about our knowledge; IQ, EQ, and SQ. How we control all of them in the real life.

Sudong Reception Counter

As a Customer Care Officer at Sudong Sdn. Bhd., patient is a big deal when handling customer especially handling Singaporean customer. We need to learn their culture in order to understand them. What they know is everything can be settled with just a 'click'. Can you imagine, Singaporean set-up their place (after being separated from Malaysia) without any resources but Malaysia got everything from our natural resources; oil, plants and so on. With all that, they able to be the first develop country in Asia pacific in ranking compared to Malaysia.

Sudong's Core Values: Delight, Trust, Positive mindset, Ownership

See....where we are now? We already have everything but could not achieve better than Singapore. They already fiber connection in telecommunication at every single of the place but Malaysia still using cable connection. They are very fast in everything. Malaysia always left behind in term of technology. I think, not only in technology but also in attitude such as road attitude. He2. I think, every Malaysian knows about it.

Customer focus, Teamwork, Challenger spirit, Personal excellence, Integrity,

All these things is not based on my experience but based on my trainers during my training session. All of them are well-experienced with Singaporean customers. Everything is just a click to serve them!

Pacmanroom.

Almost a month i have been in Sudong. Many things i need to learn and i am still in training schedule for few weeks more. Alhamdulillah, everything goes smooth so far. I'll share something here for next entry if i have time for writing plus wi-fi. They are so many beautiful scenery and designs inside Sudong's office. Serious talking, ma... See you on the next entry! ;)

MAY IT BECOME TRUE!

Lama saya biarkan blog saya bersawang tanpa menjalankan proses pembersihan.

Ketika saya menaip entri ni, sebenarnya saya baru sahaja tamat mengikuti kursus membuat cheese kek & kuih tradisional bermula 21 hingga 23 Jun (Jumaat hingga Ahad) di Institut Skill Tech, Taman Tasik Utama (TTU) Ayer Keroh.

At least dapat ilmu. Free plak tu. First time join kursus yang berbentuk kemahiran macam ni.

Only 20 persons and they gave priority to single mother and new entrepreneurship. Seats already occupied with 20 participants. Nego punya nego, at last dapat join.

Sometimes, it made me confused whether I need to called them ‘akak’ or ‘mak cik’.

tentatif kursus selama 3 hari: 9pagi hingga 5 petang

Berbagai-bagai jenis bisnes mereka join.

setelah tamat pembahagian kumpulan. aman sikit...
So, 2 group mengandungi 5 orang, 2 group lagi mengandungi 6 orang.

1st day kursus; dari kiri: saya, kak zalifah, kak azlina, kak fadhlina, makcik rosnani

2nd day

3rd day

Zalifah (29 thn) seorang tauke roti dan kak azlina (27 thn) tauke pasar malam jual kek di shah alam. Kak fadhlina surirumah. Ala2 gaya otai. He2. Masa dia introduce herself, memang geli hati bila dengar lengguk bahasa dia. ada style! Dia ni paling susah nak mintk amek gambar bersama. Memang class lah group kteorg!

Utk first day, kami hanya sempat buat 1 resipi je. Memang riuh rendah bengkel tu dibuatnya. kelam kabut pun ye makcik2 ni. It’s normal for me since I’m always having low blood pressure.

demo memasak oleh cikgu

coklat cheese cake dan kuih bakar. kuih bakar nampak mcc x cantik tp bila  makan buatan group kami mmg lembut dan sedap!

kuih talam berlauk hasil group kami

blueberry cheese cake. proses terakhir, meletak topping.

Apabila tamat sahaja bengkel bermakna masakan kami semua dh siap. so, boleh bawa balik dan diagihkan kek dan kuih mengikut citarasa kumpulan masing2. ni yang best bila join kursus pemprosesan makanan. hari2 bawa balik makanan best! FOC kot...

utk hari ke-3, pihak penganjur juga ada menyediakan slot keusahawanan kepada peserta. time ni belajar guna slide power point. hu2. biasalah org veteren x bpe x mahir guna gadget. saya juga la yg jd technician. ha2. kelihatan bosan sedikit pada awal2 slot ni sebab apa yang diajar kebanyakannya saya dh belajar semasa dalam kelas minor business. tapi bila part prosedur2 seperti halal, pakaging dan sebagainya, kelihatan sangat menarik dengan penerangan bersama contoh usahawan2 melayu yang sudah berjya seperti Noraini Cookies, Quetart dan sebagainya. ketika sesi penerangan, otak saya menerawang tentang bisnes yang bakal saya majukan nanti. seolah2 seperti di alam realiti. may it become true! Insya Allah...

jawapan betul tapi puan pengarah minta jawab RTC dengan akronim yg betul. peserta tadi jawab, "REFORMASI TRANSFORMASI CENTER" haha... memang kena cop anti-kerajaan nampaknya tp saya nampak peserta tu bawa goody beg  berlogo dacing.

at last, saya pn volunteer jawab. RURAL TRANSFORMATION CENTER. ops...sape kerajaan, sape pembangkang ni??? x pasal2 dapat hadiah jam dinding. haha. sebagai pengganti loyang sebab setiap peserta akan dapat loyang utk buat kek dan loyang kuih bakar setiap satu. tapi peserta menumpang mcm sy ni x dpt la... mungkin sebab mereka x biasa dengar perkataan 'rural' agaknya...nk sebut pn payah. Alhamdulillah....rezeki. so many input that have been grasped.

Malaysia’s 13th General Election-Nomination Day!

20th April 2013 has been the most exhilarating and exciting day for all political thinker especially those who have been nominated as nominee in general election. Nomination day is the most anxiety day which is 14 days road to polling day. It indicates that campaign period begins officially.

A big crowd had been gathered at each nomination center with their all sorts of campaign materials and the enthusiastic cheer from all supporters that represent their own parties. The supporters marched together to the nomination center to accompany the candidates.

Here, we can see the real attitude of supporters who represented their parties. It’s all about emotion and patient. How we control our emotion when encounter with our contestant? Are you strong enough? Do we care the ‘adab’?

This is one example of emotion that happened in my fb's wall. No facts. Auta semata2.

People who are cyber-based oriented know better what is really happened. It’s easy to distinguish between who will be on the right track. Government still has its power to conquer upon the media. So, undoubtedly they can do anything in many ways to deceive the residents itself but they cannot deceive the resident’s minds who are able to judge and analyze wisely.

After 55 years BN’s regime, we need changes this time! Corruption becomes crucial. No matter what, we will struggle for the battle of Malaysia! May Allah ease us for the prosperity of Islam!

I choose to vote for Islam!

VOTE FOR PAKATAN RAKYAT!

Nice Entry from NST: A LIFETIME OF LEARNING

Abraham Lincoln once said, “I do not think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday”. This opens the premise that learning is a daily adventure that one carries and explores throughout a lifetime.

Learning doesn’t stop just because school does. People who are truly effective generally do not get that way by sitting still, they apply themselves to constant learning, and competing against themselves to grow and learn day-by-day.

Make a commitment to yourself to learn something new every day, and you will not only enjoy what you discover, but you will be able to apply your knowledge and become a teacher to future generations. Here’s how:

1.  Learn how you learn: Determine your own preferred learning style or styles. Note what learning techniques are most effective for you and use them as much as is practical, such as viewing online tutorials on websites like youtube if you are more visual learner. Most people learn through multiple methods, but favour one or two. Use your preferences to your advantage.

2.   Learn where your talents and interests lie: try many different things so you don’t box yourself into believing that you are only good at few things. It is probable that you that you are good at many things, but you won’t know until you have tried.

Be wary of past memories that tell you to stay away from certain things.

As you grow, you develop more experience, coordination, responsiveness, and confidence that one experience can’t teach, but you can apply to relearn an old experience.

3.   Look at learning as an exploration and opportunity: don’t just force yourself to learn things because they are important or necessary. Instead, learn things that you need to learn alongside thing you love to learn. Follow your heart, as well as your sense of duty.

   4.    Learn the basic: it can be a grind at times, but you will be able to remember, connect, and figure out all kinds of complicated thing through relatively few, simple, building blocks, if you learn some math and natural-science concepts. You can look up precise formulas and trivia again later, but the concepts will do the most good and save a lot of time in repeated look-ups if mostly learned by heart.

   5.   Read, read, read: make friends with your local library and new and used book sellers. Reading is portal into other world, and into the minds of your fellow human being. Through reading, you will never stop learning and being amazed by the incredible creativity, intelligence, and even banality of the human species. Wise people read lots of book, all the time; it is as simple as that. And reading will help you to learn the discoveries and mistakes of others who have gone before you.

    6.  Broaden your definition of learning: take a look at the Theory of Multiple Intelligence if you don’t know it yet. Consider how you might fit it, and where you can improve. Refine your existing skills. Are you already good at cooking? Computers? Teaching? Playing saxophone? Hone these skills and take them to the next level. Try new things, both inside and outside your preferred skills area.

    7.  Do things outside your vocation: as an adult, your experience may be your best teacher. Whether you work for pay, or volunteer your time, focus on a project or tinker with whatever grabs your attention, try lots of things and notice the results. Apply the results to other things in your life, to expand the value of what you have learned. You never know when an opportune discovery may arise as a result of your observation and innovative approaches.

    8.   Create: not all learning comes from outside you. In fact, some of the most powerful learning happens when you are creating or formulating something for yourself. Creation, like intelligence, can be artistic or scientific; physical or intellectual; social or solitary. Try different media and methods and refine the ones that you like the most.
